WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of musicians in New York committed to performing 20th and 21st century music and underperformed works of earlier centuries, with the aim of demystifying complex and challenging music to audiences, regardless of experience.

FANTASQUE?

In French, it refers to something that is whimsical, capricious, unusual, and unpredictable. Even though it is not commonly used in music, some composers have used it, such as Rossini, Chabrier, and Boulez. This word reflects what we are as a group: embracing the magic of the unexpected.
